Road Warriors get Camden's Baez

C Fleming Baez has been assigned to the Road Warriors, from the Riversharks. The Warriors are the third Atlantic League team that Baez has spent time with this season. The catcher started the season in Bridgeport, appearing in only 9 games before being traded to Camden, where he played in 6 games. Combined, Baez has a .182 average in 33 ABs, 2 RBIs, and no extra base hits.
C/DH Manny Mejia will get most of the games behind the plate, since Sandy Aracena has been claimed by Bridgeport. It is also uncertain at this time if RHP Trevor Marcotte and/or C Nick Valdez will be sent to the Barnstormers, as the AL Website stated. Marcotte has appeared in 2 games since these transactions were listed, but Valdez hasn't appeared in any games. With Aracena's loss, Baez having not appeared in many games and Mejia, mostly used as a DH the past two seasons, catching depth is rough now for the Road Warriors and even a young player such as Valdez could be valuable.
