With the Atlantic League All Star Game just a day away the Home Run Derby participants were named by the Atlantic League. 3 players from both the North and South Divisions with play a 2 round Derby beginning, roughly an hour before the start of the All Star Game in Lancaster. For the North Division the hitters will be 2B Javier Colina (Newark, 16 HRs), OF Ray Naverrete (Long Island, 8 HRs), and Road Warriors slugger 1B Vito Chiaravalloti. Chiaravalloti leads the Warriors with 26 extra base hits, including a second best 10 long balls. Chiaravalloti also leads the team with 41 RBIs, and is second on the team with a .524 slugging percentage.

For the South squad, Barnstormers First Baseman Jeremy Todd (14 home runs) and Camden OF L.J. Biernbaum (16 home runs) will try to go deep. Somerset Outfielder Mike Lockwood was penciled in to be the third person on the South side, however, fellow Patriot slugger Josh Pressley will take his spot. Pressley will also suit up for the South All Stars, due to York DH Matt Dryer sitting because of a rib injury.
